Mark Lukasik

Dr. Mark Lukasik is an eye care physician who has chosen to predominantly focus his practice on seniors with glaucoma. Initially an emergency physician, Dr. Lukasik has over the years developed the medical and management skills that have culminated in the development of a full service eye care facility named the SaveSight Vision Centre. He is the team leader of a group of skilled professionals, whose expertise is enhanced by “state of the art” diagnostic and therapeutic ophthalmic equipment. He is a member of the Canadian Ophthalmologic Society and the Canadian Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Lukasik’s wife, Jane, is a dentist. They have 4 children including 3 boys followed by a girl. Dr. Lukasik’s interests over the years include hockey and coaching, cycling, hiking and travel.

Michelle Lafleur

Dr. Michelle Lafleur joined SaveSight Vision Centre in 2006 when SaveSight expanded to include an optometric division and optical gallery providing a one-stop shop for all of our patients' eye care needs.

She graduated in 2002 with a Doctorate in Optometry from the Universite de Montreal. Prior to studying optometry, she received an honours B.Sc from McGill University in molecular biology and a B.A. from the University of Guelph. Having studied in both French and English, she is fully bilingual and is happy to serve her patients in either language. Dr. Lafleur is a member of the Canadian Associciation of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Michelle enjoys traveling and has had the opportunity to offer her services to patients while on optometric missions to Haiti and Africa. Our office continues to collect old glasses for donations to foreign missions.

In her spare time, she enjoys running, rowing, cooking and spending time with her husband Jean-Pierre and baby Olivier.
