SaveSight Vision Centre

Initially an emergency physician, Dr. Lukasik has developed medical and management skills that have culminated in the development of a full-service eye care facility named the SaveSight Vision Centre. He is the team leader of a group of skilled professionals whose expertise is enhanced by state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic ophthalmic equipment. He is a member of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and the Canadian Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Lukasik’s wife, Jane, is a dentist. They have 4 children, 3 boys and a girl. Dr. Lukasik’s interests include golf, hiking, and travel.

Dr. Michelle Lafleur joined SaveSight Vision Centre in 2006 when SaveSight expanded to include an optometric division and optical gallery to become a one-stop-shop for all of our patient’s eye care needs.

Dr. Lafleur graduated in 2002 with a Doctorate in Optometry from the Université de Montréal. Prior to studying optometry, she received an honours BSc from McGill University in molecular biology and a BA from the University of Guelph. Having studied in both French and English, she is fully bilingual and is happy to serve her patients in either language. Dr. Lafleur is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Michelle enjoys travelling and has had the opportunity to offer her services to patients while on optometric missions to Haiti and Africa. Our office continues to collect old glasses for donations to foreign missions.

Michelle is involved with her children’s school as a parent council member and coaches cross country skiing. She has recently taken up the cello to keep up with the budding musicians in her family: her children Olivier and Juliette on the violin and her husband Jean-Pierre on the keyboard.

Dr. Kaitlin Marck grew up in Owen Sound and attended St. Mary’s High School. She completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo. Kaitlin then returned to Owen Sound in 2022 and joined SaveSight Vision Centre.Kaitlin enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to serve the Grey-Bruce community!
